Decide how many drums you need. You can add or reduce the number of drums at any time.
Call us to deliver 210L steel drums or 240L wheelie drums to your home or business on a date and time convenient for you.
We will provide you with the date and approximate time for collection of your garden refuse.
Fill the drums with your garden refuse. The contents of 5—6 garbage bags fit into one drum.
We will empty your drum(s) on collection day.
Important information you need to know
You do not pay for the drums. However, the drums remain the property of Ubunye Smart Refuse Management Pty. Ltd. You may also use your own drums.
Fill the drums with garden refuse only. Garden refuse includes leaves, branches, twigs, grass cuttings plants, and other similar small and light matter of organic origin. All large branches should be cut up into a manageable size before placed into the drums.
Our team will not empty your drums if they contain sand, stones, cement or building rubble. We can provide you with a separate quotation for removing this kind of material.
Our services are payable in advance. For example, if we deliver the drums on 01 May, payment must be made on or before this date for the month of May. If the drums are delivered any other day of the month, you will only pay a proportional amount for that month.
The steel drums may be placed inside or outside your yard/premises. The wheelie drums should be placed inside your yard/premises as these drums are easy to steal because they have wheels. On collection day, your drums must be outside your yard/premises at the latest by 7 am. We will gladly assist to remove the drums from your yard/premises provided that you are available to open the gate when our team arrives at your property. If you have aggressive dogs, please ensure that they are locked-up before our team enter your property.
Your drums will be emptied on a weekly basis in a timely and efficient manner.
Your collection day will depend on the area you live in or the location of your business. We may need to adjust our collection days but will inform you well in advance if the day of your collection changes.
Our pricing
We will provide you with a drum at a low monthly tariff which will be deducted through debit order from your bank account. You also have the option of paying us in cash or through EFT. You can also pay for three or more months in advance. Our tariffs are as follows:
